🔼 Welcome! The football team has a new staff member. Maurice “Rico” Zackery has been named the defensive ends and outside linebackers coach. Zackery recently coached for two years at Westlake High School as head coach. Before that, he was at Kennesaw State, Villa Rica High School, Georgia Southern and Central Carroll High School.

🔼 OT. The men’s basketball team faced SMU for its last road game of the season. The Pirates went into overtime and were unable to take the win. ECU lost 77-80. RJ Felton led the team with 28 points. Brandon Johnson had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Cyr Malonga had a career-high night with 10 points and nine boards.

Schedule Change! The baseball team did not end up playing VCU on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the weather. The Pirates will make up Tuesday’s game at a later date, but not Wednesday’s game.
