📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Fine Finister. The volleyball team wrapped up its season with a 3-0 win over UTSA, and Alyssa Finister was named the final American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for 2023. This is the first weekly honor of her career. She posted a career-high eight blocks and three digs against UTSA. Finister had a personal-best 10 kills and a .400 hitting percentage.

🔼 Up and Down. The football team was looking good in the first half against Tulsa in its last game of the regular season. Although, the Pirates were unable to pull through and lost the game by just two points, 29-27. Jaylen Johnson and Rahjai Harris scored in the first quarter. Jsi Hatfield scored in the second, along with a field goal by Andrew Conrad.

The Pirates were down two points in the third quarter but took back the lead in the fourth when Conrad made another field goal. In the final second of the game, Tulsa had a chance at a field goal and made it for the win.

🏴‍☠️  Reset for the Next. The men’s basketball team faced George Mason this past weekend and struggled offensively. Brandon Johnson and Quentin Diboundje led the team with 13 points each. The men were able to tie the game late in the first half but fell 81-59 overall. 🏀 Here’s what happened.
