🔼 Hundreds. Over 300 ECU student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 American Conference Honor Roll. This marks the second-straight year and fourth time since joining The American that 300 or more Pirates have earned the academic honor. For the third year in a row, 10 or more Pirate squads (11 for 2025-26) have put at least 80 percent of its roster on the American All-Academic Team including for teams with 100 percent representation in baseball (41 of 41), men's cross country (8 of 8), men's golf (9 of 9) and women's golf (9 of 9).

🏴‍☠️ New Staff. The volleyball team hired Abby Osmundson as an assistant coach and director of operations. She has more than 15 years of experience in coaching, analytics and operations at the high school, club and NCAA Division I levels. She recently was the technical coordinator at the University of North Dakota.
