🔼 Just One. The women’s basketball team beat Old Dominion 59-58 in overtime. Amiya Joyner scored the game-winning basket with 5.9 seconds remaining. She had 27 points and 17 rebounds. It was her seventh career 20-point double-double. The team is now 4-2 in overtime games under Kim McNeill.

🔼 Swept the Pool. The women’s swim and dive team beat Georgia Southern 208-91 and UNC Asheville 206-93 at the Georgia Southern Tri-Meet on Friday. This was ECU’s seventh win of the season. Heidi Bruining set a pool record in the 200 free, and the 400-free relay team set a pool record. Frida Zuniga Guzman had four wins.

🏴‍☠️ Winter Grads. East Carolina University had 21 current and former student-athletes receive their degrees during the 116th fall commencing ceremonies. Football had 11 athletes, soccer had four and baseball and volleyball each had three.
