Well, we’ve got not one, but ✌️ Pirates hoops games on the docket for you tonight! We’ll get you all set for both AAC matchups.

🔼 Meet Us At Minges. It’s been nearly 10 years since the ECU women’s hoops squad took the court against old friend UAB, but tonight, the two programs reunite at Minges Coliseum.

Both teams already have two AAC wins on their resume and are looking to stay at the top of the conference standings when tonight’s matchup tips off.

The Pirates will look to slow down a potent offensive unit that shoots over 40-percent from the field and more than 35-percent from long-range.

🔼 Owl Hunting. The ECU men’s hoops squad hits the road in hopes of having more success in West Philadelphia than the Fresh Prince had back in the day.

The Purple & Gold are set to battle the Owls of Temple in a showdown between two 8-7 teams that are both looking for their second AAC win of the young conference season.

ECU will need to stifle the hot-shooting Owls, who enter tonight’s matchup ranking second in the league with nearly nine 3-pointers a game.

🔼 Ok Rook, We See You! Two games, that’s all Karina Gordon needed in conference play to turn heads in the AAC.

Gordon, who took over the reins at point guard last week at UTSA, made the most of it with a historic outing that landed her AAC Freshman of the Week accolades for the first-time in her young career.

In last week’s win over UTSA, Karina Gordon scored 22 points on 6-of-9 from beyond the arc.

🔼 Playoff Pirates. The NFL postseason is set and once again, the Pirates will be a part of the dance.

Big fella Linval Joseph will once again be a part of the postseason as he helped secure the AFC East title with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night in Miami. The Bills now host the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.

Keaton Mitchell was a huge part of the Ravens’ journey to the AFC’s top seed, but suffered his season-ending injury last month, so will be unavailable for the playoffs.
