Good morning Pirates. Women’s hoops closed the regular season with a bang over the weekend, beating Tulsa on the road, 76-61! The win gave the Pirates 22 on the season, tying the program record.

🔼 Not Shocked. East Carolina softball bounced back from a Friday night loss to Wichita State to take the series against the Shockers, winning 8-0 in five innings on Saturday and by a 3-0 final score on Sunday morning. Sydney Rainford tossed a shutout in both wins for the Pirates.

🔼 Finished Strong. East Carolina baseball salvaged the final game of its series at No. 16 Coastal Carolina on Sunday, winning 10-4 in a weather-shortened, six-inning game. Nine Pirates collected a hit against the Chanticleers on Sunday, with six driving in runs.

🔼 Wrapped Up. East Carolina men’s basketball closed out the regular season on the road at UAB on Sunday, losing to the Blazers at Bartow Arena, 90-83. Demitri Gardner scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Pirates. Giovanni Emejuru recorded his 14th double-double of the season with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

🔼 Sunday Shootout. East Carolina lacrosse lost on the road at Campbell on Sunday, 16-9. Rachel Chessock scored the first goal of the game and led the Pirates with three goals.
