🔼 Huge Win. The baseball team run-ruled Charlotte 12-2 on Thursday. Davin Whitaker and Walker Barron each hit home runs. Colby Wallace and Whitaker led the team with two hits each. Whitaker tallied five RBIs. ECU had a total of nine hits. Luke Payne picked up the win on the mound.

🔼 Hits on Hits. The softball team beat Charlotte 6-4 on Thursday. Gabby Fowler hit the go-ahead, two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning. She went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs. Kanisha Anderson went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs. Taylor Apple earned the win on the mound after allowing just two hits.

🔼 Court Win. The women’s tennis team beat Hampton 4-1 on Thursday. The Pirates won the doubles point and three singles matches. ECU has now won four events this season.

All-American. The baseball team had one player named to Perfect Game’s D1 Midseason All-American list.
