🔼 Five In A Row. East Carolina baseball took down a good Old Dominion team in its midweek contest Tuesday, 7-3.

Carter Cunningham started the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning, and Lane Hoover matched him with a two-run bomb of his own in the second. Josh Moylan and Luke Nowak both added RBIs as well.

Danny Beal collected an extended save, tossing the final five innings and striking out nine.

🔼 Durham Double. East Carolina softball hits the road this evening to play a doubleheader against Duke.

The Pirates are coming off a tough series loss at Houston, winning the middle game of the weekend 12-8, sandwiched by a pair of one-run losses.

The Blue Devils are a top-15 team in the country, sporting a 31-8 record and are winners of three straight.

🔼 Postseason Tune-Up. Men’s golf finished up its regular season on Tuesday with a 15th place finish at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Individually, Philip Linberg Bondestad led the Pirates at 1-over par for the three-round tournament. As a team, East Carolina finished at 29-over par.

🔼 Hung Tough. East Carolina lacrosse came up just short to No. 5 and defending national champion North Carolina on Tuesday, 12-9.

The Pirates led 3-1 after one quarter thanks to goals from Sophia LoCicero, Frances Kimel, and Sophie Patton, and the game was tied at 6-6 heading into the fourth.

The shot of the game? That has to be Leah Bestany, with a ridiculous backhand.
