The Senior Bowl will induct Johnson into its Hall of Fame this June, it announced on Thursday. Johnson averaged 227.7 all-purpose yards per game as a senior, which remains ridiculous.

🔼 Going Streaking. East Carolina baseball looks to extend its five-game win streak this weekend with Cincinnati traveling to Greenville for a three-game series.

Cliff Godwin’s group swept UCF at home last weekend and are in a three-way tie for first place in the AAC at 4-2 with Houston and South Florida. Cincinnati is just behind at 3-3.

The Jungle will be jumping yet again this weekend!

🔼 Cream Of The Crop. Two of the top teams in the AAC square off this weekend in Gainesville as East Carolina lacrosse takes on Florida.

The Pirates are undefeated at 3-0 in the AAC, with Florida right on their heels at 2-1. The Gators have one of the best goal scorers in the conference in Emma LoPinto, who is scoring more than three goals per game.

🔼 Get Right. East Carolina softball gets three games at home this weekend with Memphis coming to town.

The Tigers come into the weekend at 7-32, having been swept by Wichita State last weekend. They are coming off a 3-2 win over UT-Martin in their midweek contest.

🔼 Southern Swingin’. East Carolina women’s golf is in Brooksville, Florida to compete in the AAC Championships, with tee times starting Sunday.

The tournament will be held at Southern Hills Country Club, which hosted the PGA Championship in 2022. The Pirates are coming off a third place finish at the Ironwood Invitational.
