🔼 Triple The Fun. East Carolina baseball was led by a three-home run effort from Jacob Jenkins-Cowart in a 13-9 win over a talented NC State team on Tuesday night.

Clark-LeClair Stadium was a launch pad in this one, with the Pirates going deep six times against the Wolfpack. Jacob Starling got in on the action, as did Joey Berini, and Josh Moylan wasn’t left out either.

Yup, this was a fun one folks!

🔼 Bronze On The Links. ECU women’s golf finished third at the Ironwood Invitational on Tuesday.

The Pirates shot a 7-over par 871 over the course of the tournament, and were led by Andrea Miralles Llopis, who finished in a tie for 16th. Marta Perez tied for 28th, Caroline Hermes finished 34th, and Grayson Warren finished 59th.

🔼 Pirate Honor. East Carolina women’s lacrosse’s Camryn Pennypacker is the American Athletic Conference’s Midfielder of the Week, with Sophia LoCicero joining her on the weekly Honor Roll.

Both athletes scored four goals in a 15-10 win over Vanderbilt last week, with Pennypacker adding a ground ball.

ECU hosts Cincinnati on April 8 as it looks to move to 3-0 in AAC play.

🔼 Midseason Marvel. ECU’s Trey Yesavage has been named a First-Team Midseason All-American by Perfect Game.

Yesavage, a sophomore, is 4-0 on the year with a 2.08 ERA in 43.1 innings, with 67 strikeouts and a .188 batting average against.
