Kelly Ufodiama becomes the first athlete in AAC history to sweep the four-event short sprint circuit at the 2025 AAC Championships.

Good morning. The East Carolina track & field team wrapped up the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday at Charlotte's Irwin Belk Track & Field Center with a ninth-place finish for the women and a 10th-place result for the men. The star of the show was Kelly Ufodiama again, turning in an historic final day of competition with two titles and hardware aplenty. She is the first athlete in AAC history to sweep the four-event short sprint circuit.

🔼 Bring On the Bulls. A late East Carolina rally fell just short Saturday afternoon at the USF Baseball Stadium as South Florida held on for a 6-5 victory to end the regular season.
 
The Pirates (29-25, 13-14 AAC) earned the No. 6 seed for the AAC Baseball Championship and will face the No. 3 seed Bulls (29-23, 16-11 AAC) in the fourth and final opening round contest of the event tomorrow—Tuesday, May 20—in Clearwater, Florida.

🔼 Buck Stops Here. East Carolina lacrosse's Emma Magazu has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-South Region Second Team.
 
In just her first season in Greenville, Magazu became the Pirates' go-to defensive stopper and made her mark on the program record book in the process. In total, she compiled an ECU record 30 caused turnovers and 43 ground balls which rank second in program history.
