🔼 Hardwood Heroes. Big boost coming - East Carolina men’s basketball has announced the addition of a pair of players to its roster for the 2023-24 season.

Guard Cam Hayes joins the Pirates after spending last season at LSU, where he averaged 8.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23 minutes per game. Center Callum Richard comes by way of Gaston Day School, where he spent four years. As a senior, Richard averaged 15.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks.

The pair join Bobby Pettiford Jr., Ta’Korrie Faison and Cyr Malonga as newcomers for the Pirates this season.

🔼 Pro Pirates. The number of Pirates in the NFL just got bigger! Five ECU alums signed free agent contracts with NFL teams over the weekend, starting their pro journeys.
