🔼 Postseason Push. Fresh off a sweep of South Florida to clinch its fourth consecutive AAC regular season title, East Carolina baseball opens up the AAC Tournament against…South Florida yet again!

The Pirates outscored the Bulls 21-9 over their three-game series in Tampa, with 8-3 and 7-1 wins sandwiching a 6-5 game two win.

The AAC Tournament is a double-elimination format through the semifinal round, with the championship game a winner-take-all matchup on Sunday.

🔼 All-AAC Acclaim. A program-record 11 East Carolina baseball players were named to All-AAC teams on Monday.

First-Team honors went to RHP Trey Yesavage, OF Carter Cunningham and DH Jacob Jenkins-Cowart. RHP Josh Grosz, RHP Carter Spivey, C Justin Wilcoxen, 1B Josh Moylan, 2B Jacob Starling, SS Joey Berini and OF Luke Nowak were all named Second-Team members, and LHP Zach Root was named to the All-Freshman team.

And on top of his Second-Team All-AAC nod, Moylan was named the AAC Player of the Week for his work last week.

Moylan hit .412 last week over a 3-1 stretch for East Carolina, including three doubles, two home runs and 10 RBI.
