🔼 One Key Stat. In order to make it to the NCAA Super Regionals, East Carolina will have to make it past No. 1 seed Virginia, No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 4 Army. Here’s one key stat on each of those teams:

No. 1 Virginia - The Hoos lead the country in batting average at .334, with five lineup regulars hitting .333 or higher.

No. 3 Oklahoma - The Sooners have six wins against RPI top-25 teams this season, second-most in the Big 12.

No. 4 Army - The Black Knights have three pitchers (Robbie Buecker, Mike Ruggieri, Tanner Gresham) with at least 59 innings and sub-3.00 ERAs.

He does now - the East Carolina right-hander was invited to participate in USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team Training Camp!

Yesavage was an All-American Athletic Conference First Team member this season thanks to his 6-1 record and 2.80 ERA. He is the seventh Pirate in program history to receive an invitation to USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team Training Camp.
