📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Finishing Strong. The 1975 East Carolina football team dropped its first two games of the season to NC State and Appalachian State.

Only 75 more days until East Carolina football!

🔼 In All Phases. The Pirates almost doubled their opponents’ scoring output in 1975, hanging 296 points on the scoreboard themselves and allowing just 154 points across 11 games.

Pete Conaty completed 24 passes for 463 yards and six touchdowns to lead in the passing department, but East Carolina really did its damage in the ground game back in 1975.

Ken Strayhorn (638 yards), Willie Hawkins (592), Tom Daub (333), Mike Weaver (333), Raymond Jones (298) and Eddie Hicks (296) led the way, scoring 22 touchdowns between the six of them.

Terry Gallaher was efficient in the receiving game, catching 13 balls on the year, seven of them going for touchdowns.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

All The All-Americans. With Trey Yesavage earning Second-Team All-American honors from the NCBWA last week, East Carolina has now had an All-American in each completed season dating back to 2017.
