🔼 Mr. All-American. Not one, not two, not three, but four All-American nods for East Carolina right-hander Trey Yesavage now!

Baseball America and D1Baseball are the latest publications to name Yesavage among the best in college baseball, bestowing second team honors on the Pirate ace.

But that wasn’t even the biggest news for Yesavage on Thursday - he was also officially selected to the 31-man USA Collegiate National Team roster!

🔼 Road Goes Through Greenville. East Carolina will be the host for the 2023 American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, which will take place on Oct. 28 at Overton’s Lake Kristi.

The course has a history of hosting big races, including the 2003 and 2005 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships and 2001 and 2006 Conference USA Championships.

🔼 How ‘Bout ‘64. East Carolina football outscored its opponents 279-109 over 10 games in 1964, going 9-1 in its last season as an independent program before joining the Southern Conference in 1965.

The Pirates’ one loss was by two points against Richmond on October 24.
