🔼 Who We Got? East Carolina men’s and women’s basketball schedules are starting to come more into focus.
The AAC announced the 18-game conference assignments on Thursday, with four home-only matchups, four away-only, and five home-and-home series.
🔼 New Lacrosse Leader. East Carolina has announced the hiring of Brittany Dipper as the newest head coach of the Pirate lacrosse program!
Taking over for Amanda Moore, Dipper will be the second head coach in East Carolina lacrosse history. She comes to Greenville after one season as an assistant coach at Virginia under legendary coach Julie Myers.

🔼 Cream Of The Crop. East Carolina baseball dominates the American Athletic Conference on the field, with its four consecutive conference titles as proof.
It also dominates off the field, with its unprecedented eighth-straight AAC Team Academic Excellence Award, handed out Thursday.
The East Carolina women’s golf team also joined in on the academic success in 2022-23, taking home the same honor in its sport.
Congrats to both women’s golf and baseball on the success in the classroom!
🔼 Looking Peachy. Jeff Blake and the 1991 East Carolina football team lost the first game of the season to Illinois, a close 38-31 game.
Blake tossed 28 touchdowns and threw for more than 3,000 yards in 1991 and finished seventh in Heisman Trophy voting. All told, Blake threw 43 touchdowns in his Pirate career.
