🔼 Let’s Watch Some Football. We’ll be honest, there’s no super specific tie between today and East Carolina football’s Purple-Gold Spring Game.
Mostly we just really miss watching football and figured you do, too. So, let’s watch some football!
🔼 Media Day Madness. Luckily, we do have some fresh football content to share, too!
AAC Football Media Day kicked off yesterday, with the Pirates represented by head coach Mike Houston, tight end Shane Calhoun and linebacker Jeremy Lewis.
🔼 Swimming For A Spot. Incoming East Carolina transfer Kaylee Hamblin will be in the pool at the 2024 Olympic Trials, competing in the 100-meter breaststroke.
Hamblin competed in her first two collegiate seasons at NC State, where she achieved a lifetime-best 1:00.07 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The women’s 100-meter breaststroke heats at the Olympic Trials will be held on June 16, 2024, with the finals held the following day.
🔼 Transfer Tackler. Omar Rogers had 145 tackles and seven interceptions during his time at Elon, and was named a Second-Team All-CAA member in 2022.
He’ll play the 2023 season as a member of East Carolina’s secondary, and boy are we excited to see what No. 39 has in store for Year 1 in Greenville!
39 more days until East Carolina football!
