🔼 Diamonds Are Forever. And its outta here! Alumni Josh Moylan touches all the bases after he hit his first professional home run as first baseman with the Tampa Tarpons—a Single-A affiliate to the New York Yankees.
The 21-year-old signed an undrafted free agent contract after earned a Top 500 MLB prospect ranking, and is now playing with another ECU alumni, pitcher Jake Agnos.
WATCH: ECU Football Coach Mike Houston and the Pirates enter the “No Quarter: The history of East Carolina football and Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium” exhibit inside Joyner Library on main campus.

🔼 Relive History. Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is football history, and ECU football is taking a look at some of the great moments that happened on their gridiron. And in just 26 days, the players will have a chance to make history themselves and add to this exhibit.
Coming even sooner is the football kickoff party that Pirate Radio is hosting. Get riled up for this season on Thursday, August 31 at the State Theater.

🔼 Going Green. Alumni Harold Varner III made the green his home at The Old White at the Greenbrier match. His team, RangeGoats GC, consisted of Thomas Pieters, Bubba Watson, and Talor Gooch.
Harold Varner had his best score—and best overall for his team—in the first round hitting a -7 and finishing the tournament with a 196 total.
