Men's Squad Returns Home After Big Road Win

Good morning. While a lot of us will use the weekend to catch up on things around the house or maybe even catch up on some rest, the Pirates are looking to pile up Ws.

It’s another busy weekend for the hoops squads and this weekend, the water warriors are back in action.

🔼 Working For The Weekend. Another 2-for-Saturday is on tap for the ECU hoops squads.

The men’s team returns to Minges after a thrilling road win at Temple on Wednesday night to take on a SMU squad that has won four of its past five and just took nationally-ranked Memphis to the wire this week.

The women’s team heads to the bayou to facing a Tulane team that is looking for its first AAC win, but is 6-2 at home this season.

🔼 On The Deck. The undefeated ECU swimming & diving squad hits the water for the first time in 2024 this weekend.

The Pirates blew through the fall portion of their schedule to the tune of a 7-0 record and now head to Virginia for a split weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, the diving crew battles Liberty in Lynchburg, while, the swimmers hit the water on Saturday in a dual meet with ODU and William & Mary.

🔼 Playoff Pirates. The NFL postseason is set and once again, the Pirates will be a part of the dance.

Big fella Linval Joseph will once again be a part of the postseason as he helped secure the AFC East title with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night in Miami. The Bills now host the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.

Keaton Mitchell was a huge part of the Ravens’ journey to the AFC’s top seed, but suffered his season-ending injury last month, so will be unavailable for the playoffs.
