🔼 Next Round! The women’s basketball team defeated Tulsa 75-71 in the quarterfinals and will move on to the semifinals tonight at 7 p.m. Danae McNeal fueled the team with 29 points, five rebounds, 10 steals and three blocks. Amiya Joyner had 14 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double. 

🔼 Thanks! TowneBank has made a $1.2 million investment to support the Pirates Unite Campaign for Comprehensive Excellence. The funds are going to the Isley Indoor Performance Center. This is the second major investment from TowneBank in the last six years. The company also supported us in 2019 with a $3 million investment in the Southside Renovation Project.

🏴‍☠️ Honor Roll #1. The American Athletic Conference named Trey Yesavage to the weekly Honor Roll. Yesavage secured himself a win on March 8 against Liberty. He pitched for six innings and only allowed three hits. He struck out nine and only allowed one run. See more of his stats here.

🏴‍☠️ Honor Roll #2. The American Athletic Conference named Carter Cunningham to the weekly Honor Roll. Cunningham had 12 at-bats this past weekend and scored three runs. He also had six RBIs. See more of his stats here.
