🔼 Baseball Championship Run. The Pirates had a long run in the American Athletic Conference Baseball Championships. This past weekend, the team played Wichita State, where they lost 14-4. The men went on to beat Rice 8-7. They then came back to beat Wichita State 5-4 to advance to the semifinals. Unfortunately, the third time wasn’t the charm for the Pirates, and they fell to Wichita State in the semifinals 12-2.

The team now awaits their postseason destination, which will be revealed today at noon on the NCAA Selection Show broadcast on ESPN2.

🔼 We’re Hosting! The NCAA Division I Baseball Committee announced 16 regional sites for the 77th annual NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on Sunday evening. Clark-LeClair Stadium will serve as a host site for the opening round of The Road To Omaha. This is the sixth time the facility has hosted the event.

🔼 Season Notes. Here is the quickest recap of all things good for ECU baseball this season.
