Good morning. It’s June already? Where has the time gone?! At least we still have baseball :)

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Regionals Recap. The baseball team had a slow start in the Greenville Regional but picked it right back up with an exciting win. The Pirates lost game one to Evansville 4-1. Carter Cunningham scored the lone run with a solo home run.

Next, the men took on Wake Forest in the elimination game. The Pirates were down two runs entering the ninth inning, and Luke Nowak posted a walkoff single to win the game 7-6. Dixon Williams hit a three-run home run and led the team with 4 RBIs. Trey Yesavage was back on the mound and threw 7.1 innings.

The Pirates had two huge wins on Sunday, first against VCU 10-7 and then they got their revenge against Evansville 19-6.

The Purple and Gold will play Evansville today at noon for the final game of the Regional.
