🔼 Quick Win. The baseball team beat VCU 12-2 in eight innings. John Collins and Alex Bouche combined for six hits and six RBIs. The Pirates had nine hits. Tyler Brashear was credited with his first collegiate victory.

🔼 Top 5. The men’s golf team finished fourth at the 36-hole Palmetto Invitational. Carter Busse and Tyler DeChellis both posted scores of 143 (+3), tying for ninth place individually. The team had an overall score of 583 2 (+23).

🔼 At the Top. The women’s golf team finished tied for fifth at the 36-hole Briars Creek Invitational. The Pirates finished with a team score of 586 (+10). Andrea Miralles led ECU with a score of 145 (+1), tying for 17th individually.

🔼 Win! The women’s tennis team beat Mercer 5-2. The Pirates won two doubles matches and four singles matches.

🏴‍☠️ Best Arm. The American Athletic Conference named Ethan Norby the Co-AAC Pitcher of the Week. This is the first of his career and the first by a Pirate this season. Norby struck out an AAC single-game record 19 batters over a career-best 7.1 innings with no walks.
