🔼 More to Play! The softball team played in the American Conference quarterfinals and beat North Texas 4-2 in nine innings. Anna Sawyer was the star of the game. She led the team with three hits, one being the winning walk-off two-run home run. She also had the game-tying hit and a huge diving catch. Julia Apostolakos threw 7.1 innings and struck out eight batters. The Pirates will play today in the semifinals against Wichita State at 3:30pm ET.

🏴‍☠️ Leadership Change. ECU Director of Athletics Jon Gilbert announced that the contract of lacrosse head coach Brittany Dipper will not be renewed when it expires at the end of June. Dipper compiled a 19-31 record in three seasons at the Pirates' helm including an 8-9 mark in 2026.
