🔼 First Place! The men’s golf team finished the Ironwood Collegiate Classic in first place. The men posted an overall score of 548 (-28) after 36 holes. Bad weather had no effect on the Pirates as they set the 36-hole record and tied the school relative to par record at 18-under. Four of the five started shot rounds in the 60s. Tyler DeChelllis and Philip Linberg Bondestad led the ECU with individual scores of 135 (-9) to tie for third place.

🔼 Proud Performance. The women’s golf team finished the Pirate Collegiate Classic in second place. The team shot 577 (+1) over 36 holes. Weather shortened the tournament but didn’t hold back the Pirates. Danielle Modder led ECU with a score of 143 (+1) to finish fifth individually. Marta Perez wasn’t far behind, tying for ninth.

🏴‍☠️ Weekly Honor. The American Athletic Conference named Sydney Schnell the Offensive Player of the Week. Schnell had three goals last week when the Pirates faced Charlotte and North Texas. She recorded her first career brace, which was the first by a Pirate in two years.
