🔼 Wait a Minute. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named Danny Beal to the 2024 Stopper of the Year Preseason Watch List. Beal is a senior right-handed pitcher. He is one of 73 athletes on the watch list. Beal had a 4-0 record and 2.31 ERA in the American Conference play with 25 strikeouts.

🔼 Double Please. The men’s basketball team defeated Wichita State by double digits, and Brandon Johnson recorded his eighth double-double. The Pirates won 68-55. Johnson scored 21 points and 10 rebounds, and RJ Felton had 21 points and seven rebounds. Felton is so close to hitting his 1,000-point career mark.
