🔼 Shutout. The soccer team shut out Temple 2-0 on Thursday night. Holly Schlagel and Amy Mason each scored. The Pirates had 25 shots, and 12 were on goal. Goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich had two saves. ECU is now 5-4-3 overall this season.

🔼 Schedule Update! Due to weather, Saturday’s baseball game against UNC Greensboro has been relocated to UNCG’s baseball stadium. First pitch is a 1:35pm ET. The Meet the Pirates event will be rescheduled for a later date.

🔼 Close Game. The football team faced Tulane on Thursday night and fell 26-19. The Pirates scored 16 points in the third quarter and had a field goal in the fourth. Brock Spalding and Katin Houser made it to the end zone. ECU led in the rush game with 160 yards. Houser connected on 19 of 30 attempts for 180 yards and one touchdown.

🏴‍☠️ Double Honors. The swim and dive team had two athletes earn American Conference honors. Redshirt senior Frida Zuniga was named the Diving Athlete of the Week. Romina Hernandez was named the Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week. Zuniga finished first in the 1-meter at Duke and at Liberty. Hernandez finished second in the 1-meter at Liberty and third in the 3-meter at Duke.
