🔼 Tourney Results. The softball team advanced to the semifinal game against Wichita State on Friday. The Pirates won 3-2. Hailey Deter hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to lift ECU past the Shockers. Julia Apostolakos earned the win in the mound after throwing three innings and striking out eight batters. The women advanced to the championship game on Saturday against South Florida and fell 5-1. Deter hit a homer in the fifth inning for the team’s only score of the game.
