📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Season Finale. The softball team played in round two of the American Athletic Conference Championships against North Texas. The Pirates started off strong, with Taylor Woodring hitting a solo home run in the top of the first. However, the women’s offense couldn’t build off of that, and they lost 9-1. The team ended their campaign with the most wins in a regular season since 2011, going 38-19 overall and 13-14 in conference play.

🔼 Thank You! We would like to give a shoutout to football head coach Mike Houston and his wife Amanda for donating $100,000 to the Pirates Unite Campaign. The money will go towards the Isley Indoor Performance Center. The new building is set to be 101,000 square feet with a synthetic turf football practice field and more.

Round 1 Stats. The softball team beat UAB in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Championships. Emma Jackson led off with a double.
