🔼 Big Win. The softball team upset No. 18/23 Duke 5-4 on Tuesday. Anna Sawyer led the Pirates with two hits and two RBIs, including a two-run homer. Kanisha Anderson also had two hits and Jenna Krol added two RBIs. ECU snapped a seven-game losing streak to Duke and won at Duke for the first time. Sydney Rainford picked pu the complete game win with four strikeouts.

🔼 Recognized. The lacrosse team had two players earn honorable mention for last week’s games. Jaime Behar and Kayla Wilkes were selected for the honor.

🏴‍☠️ Best Arm. The baseball team had Sean Jenkins earn the American Conference Pitcher of the Week honor. Jenkins completely neutralized No. 10 North Carolina to earn his first win of the season. He threw 4.2 innings of a near-perfect relief, allowing only one hit and zero runs. He issued zero walks while racking up seven strikeouts.
