🔼 Top Teams. The baseball and men’s golf programs earned American Team Academic Excellence Awards for the 2025-26 academic year. For an unprecedented 11th-straight year (American Conference record), the baseball program under head coach Cliff Godwin, boasted the sports highest grade point average coming in with a 3.72 for the 2025-26 campaign, which tied a program-best GPA set a year ago. The men's golf team, led by director of golf/head coach Kevin Williams, earned its first American Conference Team Academic Excellence Award after posting a program-best 3.84 GPA.

Getting Closer. We are two weeks away from the first sporting event of the 2026-27 academic year.

🏴‍☠️ Triple-Threat.  Jack Herring (baseball), Emma Magazu (lacrosse) and Jordan Riley (men's basketball) have been named American Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Herring graduated Suma Cum Laude in the spring of 2026 with a bachelor's in communications, sporting a cumulative 3.95 GPA. A spring of 2025 graduate receiving her bachelor's degree in applied sociology with a concentration in crime, law and deviance (3.80 GPA), Magazu is currently working towards her MBA where she sports a 3.40 grade point average. Riley graduated with a bachelor's in communication in the spring of 2026 boasting a 3.63 cumulative GPA.
