Pirate Brew 9/12: Tee Time
Today, we're looking at the men's and women's golf round one and two stats.
Good morning. Opponents can’t catch up to him on the court and, next, they won't be able to see him. Bobby Pettiford Jr. says he would choose to be invisible so he could mess around.
What else are we mixing into today's Brew?

🏴☠️ And much, much more!
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 One Done. The men’s golf team started its season off with the River Run Collegiate and is tied for first after round one. The team hit even with a total of 280. Carter Busse shot the lowest for the Pirates, ending with 68 (-2), and Drew O’Neal shot an even 70. Be sure to follow their live stats to see what place the men finish in.
🔼 Round Two. The women finished round two in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Golf Club in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. The Pirates hit 286 in round two, which was 14 strokes better than round one. They have a total of 586 (+18) and look to keep their spot in the top five after round three. Zoe Allaux was the only Pirate to hit under at 68 (-3) in round two.
🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA
Get Low. Carter Busse may know how to shoot low in golf, but I wonder if he can get low on the dance floor, too. As you know from above, Busse hit a team low of 68 in round one of the program's first event. But for today’s question, we are going to look at his best career score for three rounds.
Today’s question—what is Busse’s career low score for 3 rounds?

We like our Brew hot n’ fresh. But we’re not opposed to you reheating your cup. Here’s some news you may have missed recently…
🏴☠️ Clock Work. The NFL season kicked off this past weekend, and alumni Zay Jones is doing what Zay Jones does. A laying-out end zone catch looked easy for the wide receiver to put the Jaguars ahead of the Colts in the second quarter.
🏴☠️ Show it Off. The women’s basketball team got to show off its rings and championship trophy at the home football game in front of 38,211 fans. The team also added the Conference Tournament Champion banner and NCAA Appearance banner in their practice gym.
