📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Top 10. The Pirates competed at the Adidas XC Challenge and finished in the top 10. The men placed sixth, and the women placed eighth out of the 14 team fields. J Henry Lyon led the men in the 6k with a time of 18:33.8. He placed 30th individually. Erin Pope also finished in 30th place with a time of 17:47.6 in the women’s 5k race.

🔼 Out of Steam. The football team had a strong first half but was left in the dust in the second half. The Pirates were up 17-7 at halftime. ECU was able to regain the lead in the second half of the game but ended up losing 35-24. Jake Garcia, Marlon Gunn Jr. and Rahjai Harris scored for the Pirates. Garcia had 20 completions for 204 yards.

🔼 In a Pit. The volleyball team fell to No. 1 Pitt 3-0 on Friday night and 3-0 to Marquette on Saturday. The team is now 7-3 overall. They finished non-conference play. The next match will be the first American Athletic Conference match. It is on Friday against Florida Atlantic.
