🔼 Jumpin’ Joyner. The women’s basketball team played UAB, and one of Amiya Joyner’s plays was recognized by the American Conference. Check out what Joyner did in the video above, starting at 1:12.

🔼 In the Works. The track and field team begins its season today! The team is competing in the Hokie Invitational, and here’s what you need to know. This is the opening meet of the season. The meet is hosted by Virginia Tech and will take place in the Rector Field House.

Director of Track and Field Curt Kraft says, “We are excited about both teams; that comes along with a lot of leadership and some great talented freshman. We will know what we must work on after this first track meet."
