🔼 Triple Threat. The track and field team competed in three events this past weekend. The Pirates split their squad between the Duke Twilight, Torrin Lawrence Memorial and Aggie Classic. Macy Dulaney led the way with a runner-up finish, recording a mark of 14.57 meters. The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Ciara Clayton, Kailey Elliott, Brianna Clayton and Kelly Ufodiama set a new school record with a time of 3:35.10, ranking first in the conference and 39th in the nation. Kennedy Hughes-Thompson added a personal-best 14.19 in the 100-meter hurdles.
🔼 Best Arm. The American Conference named Ryan Towers the Pitcher of the Week. Towers delivered a career-best outing, tossing 7.0 shutout innings. He earned the win on the mound and matched his career high with 10 strikeouts. He did not allow a hit or a run, holding Memphis to just three hits and one walk across 27 batters faced.

🏴☠️ Team Awards. The swim and dive team announced its annual end-of-season team awards. The Pirates finished the season with a dual meet record of 8-3 and a third place finish at the American Conference Championships. Frida Zuniga was named the team's Most Outstanding Diver. Frida Zuniga was named the team's Most Outstanding Diver. Elena Dinehart was named the team's most improved swimmer. Kinsley Baker was tabbed the team's most improved diver. Freshman Tanith Mueller earned Most Outstanding Newcomer.
