🔼 Trio Triumph. The volleyball team had three athletes named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. This award was given to Julianna Askew, Kenzie Beckham and Lara Uyar for compiling a 3.50-or-greater GPA and playing in 90% (or starting in at least 66%) of the team’s matches. Askew had a 3.662 cumulative GPA as a communication major. Beckham holds a 4.00 GPA as a management major. Uyar also has a 4.00 GPA as an economics major.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Bringing Greatness. Lara Uyar brought to the ECU volleyball team a lot of skill. Not only was her GPA perfect, but she also had 347 digs on the court and reached double figures in the digs column 18 times. We are happy she transferred over to be a Pirate.
