📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Four to Win. The volleyball team beat Memphis 3-1. Ellie Pate, Angeles Alderete and Fran McBride hit double-digits. ECU had a total of 61 kills. Next, the Pirates swept UAB 3-0. Pate had a match-best 12 kills. The team now has a six-game win streak and is third in the American Athletic Conference.

🔼 Race Results. The cross country team competed at the American Athletic Conference Championships. Alex Sawyer and J Henry Lyon collected All-Conference Honors. Sawyer finished 43rd, and Lyon was 44th. The men took seventh overall. The women finished eighth overall. Erin Pope finished 19th, with Kaylee McCullough right behind in 20th.

🔼 Split Meet. The swim and dive team competed at the Richmond Dual Meet. The Pirates beat Richmond 204-95 but fell to Pennsylvania 169-130. Frida Zuniga Guzman captured first in the 1m and 3m dives. Heidi Bruining won the 200 free, Kaylee Hamblin won the 100 back and the ECU 400 freestyle relay team got first.

Conference Tournament. The soccer team is qualified for the American Athletic Conference Tournament. The Pirates will compete in the quarterfinals today at 11 a.m. ET.

🏴‍☠️ Money Matcher. A total of 440 members of Pirate Nation contributed to the Bill Clark Homes $1 million matching gift challenge. The money raised will fund the new Dick and Sarah Bennett Baseball Building. It only took two weeks to raise the money.
