🔼 Big Win. The women’s basketball team beat Charleston Southern 91-62 on Tuesday. The Pirates held the Buccaneers to only eight points in the second quarter. Taylor Barner led the game with 32 points, which is the most by a rookie in ECU history since 2017. The Pirates shot 45.9% from the field and 44% from behind the arc. Keanna Rembert was also in double-digits with 12 points.

🏴‍☠️ Anotha’ One. Football specialist Nick Mazzie was named the American Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. This is his second time earning the honor this season. Mazzie scored a career-best 12 points, connecting a pair of field goals and all six PATs, which tied his season-high. He tied his ECU personal-best of a 50-yard field goal. Mazzie is eighth in The American among all scorers with 7.88 points per game.
