🔼 Victory! The women’s basketball team beat Charlotte 67-61 on Friday. The Pirates posted a season-best 51% shooting from the field and forced Charlotte into 25 turnovers. ECU also shot 50% from deep. Kennedy Fauntleroy led the team with 21 points.

🔼 Just One. The men’s basketball team beat Florida Atlantic in a super close game, 76-75. Jordan Riley scored a game-high 35 points. Demitri Gardner and Giovanni Emejuru each had 12 points. The Pirates shot 42.6% from the field and 47.1% from deep.

🏴‍☠️ Quick Meet. The inclement weather shortened track and field’s Bob Pollock Invitational this past weekend. The teams only competed on Friday and not Saturday. Kelly Ufodiama led the women’s springs. She advanced to the 60m semifinals with a time of 7.15. Kailey Elliott took third place in the 60m hurdles. Bryson Miller posted a personal-best time of 47.35 in the 400m.
