📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Finish Strong. The women’s basketball team scored 27 points in the fourth quarter to beat Tulane 75-64. Freshman Devin Hagemann had a breakout game with 21 points. Jayla Hearp was right behind with 15 points. Amiya Joyner is now fifth in program history with a career 112 blocks.

🔼 Records Set. The track and field team kicked off 2025 at the Clemson Invitational. The Pirates won six events, tied or broke three program records and made 14 changes to the program’s top 10 lists. Freshman Kelly Ufodiama broke the program records at both the 60m and 200m.

🔼 Close Game. The men’s basketball team had a close game against No. 19 Memphis. The Pirates came back in the second period with 46 points but came up short and lost 74-70. C.J. Walker led the team with 23 points, and RJ Felton had a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Anotha’ One. The women’s basketball team had 20 offensive rebounds against Tulane.

This is the #th time the Pirates grabbed 20 or more offensive rebounds this season.

🏴‍☠️ Own the Pool. The swim and dive team swept its quad meet at William & Mary. The Pirates beat William & Mary 180-110, Old Dominion 229-61 and Central Connecticut State 225-74. The women took the top three spots in the 200 freestyle and 200 breaststroke.
